Model 1203 Precision Moisture Meter:

The model RT-1203 moisture meter is an easy to read "analog" style moving needle meter with printed scales and settings for measuring moisture content in concrete, timber and plaster materials. It is a class 2.5 instrument that uses resistance or conductivity for measurements. The meter contains an internal 9V battery and also has a setting for checking the battery charge level.

This meter uses invasive measuring methods in concrete surfaces - either concrete nails or 25mm deep drilled holes with suitable electrodes and conductive jelly in accordance with the "Electrical Resistance Test" method specified in a number of Australian Standards for flooring.

It is a 2.5% accuracy class, precision instrument, which is calibrated for measuring moisture content in concrete and other surface. It uses non-penetrating, non-invasive, surface contact based RF measurement. It has a large easy to read display and does not suffer from the reading interpretation issues of many digital moisture meters.
